DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes dredging shoal material from the Rio Puerto Nuevo Channel San Juan, Puerto Rico to various depths. Dredged material shall be placed in offshore ocean disposal site which approximately 2.3 nautical miles from the San Juan Harbor entrance channel. Work includes turbidity monitoring, and incidental related work. The anticipated Period of Performance is 60 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS: The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 22 July 2019 and bids will be due on or about 19 Sept 2019. NAICS Code 237990, size standard $27.5 million. Magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED ACQUISITION. ALL RESPONSIBLE OFFERORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE.
