The project work includes maintenance dredging of shoaled areas in the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway (GIWW) and Venice Inlet. The required dredging depth is 9 feet MLLW with 2-foot allowable overdepth, and 7 feet MLLW with 1-foot allowable overdepth as shown in the drawings. The estimated quantity to be dredged is 25,000 cubic yards. The period of performance is estimated at 150 calendar days aftyer notice to proceed. All dredged material is anticipated to be beach quality and shall be placed on to the designated beach disposal area, which lies immediately south of the inlet. Incidental work includes, but is not limited to, turbidity monitoring, environmental species monitoring, vibration monitoring, and beach fill quality control.
