Project work consists of maintenance dredging of shoal material from Jacksonville Harbor. Base work consists of dredging the Lower Terminal Channel and Cut-55 to a depth of 40 feet. Optional work consists of dredging Cut-42 through Cut-43 and Cut-46 through Cut 48 to a depth of 40 feet. All Base and Optional work dredge area depths have a two-foot allowable overdepth. All excavated material will be placed in Bartram Island Cell A. Incidental work includes, but is not limited to, environmental species monitoring, turbidity monitoring, and Sea Turtle Trawl-Sweeping. The solicitation will consist of a Base and Two Options as follows: Base work consists of dredging portions of the Lower Terminal Channel and Cut-55 to a depth of 40 feet with a two-foot allowable overdepth. Option A work consists of dredging in various locations within Cut-46 and Cut-48 to a depth of 40 feet with a two-foot allowable overdepth. Option B work consists of dredging in various locations within Cut-42 and Cut-43 to a depth of 40 feet width a two-foot allowable overdepth. The contractor shall begin performance within 45 calendar days and complete performance within 125 calendar days (Base work-97 calendar days, Option A work-18 calendar days, and Option B-10 calendar days) after the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The performance period is mandatory. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 20 March 2019, and bids will be due on or about 23 April 2019 The NAICS Code is 237990, and Size Standard is $36.5 Million Magnitude of Construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00 A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on a date to be determined later, and will be listed in the solicitation This Procurement is an Unrestricted Acquisition.
