Project work consists of maintenance dredging the Intracoastal Waterway (IWW) channel in two locations, approximately 16 miles apart. The first, in Palm Beach County, is located adjacent to DMMA MSA-641A. Dredging at this location will be to a required depth of 9 feet plus 1 foot of allowable overdepth. The second, in Broward County, lies at the confluence of the IWW and the Hillsboro Inlet channel. Dredging at this location will be to a required depth of 10 feet plus 2 feet of allowable overdepth. All material excavated from these areas shall be placed in MSA-641A. Incidental work includes endangered species monitoring and turbidity monitoring. The estimated period of performance for the required work is 105 calendar days after the Contractor receives the notice to proceed. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises. Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $3,000,000.00. NAICS Code 237990, Size Standard $27.5 Million.
