The work includes, but is not limited to: mechanical dredging of the main navigation channel as defined by the Contracting Officer; furnishing and use of a clamshell, draglines, backhoe, bucket-ladder... The work includes, but is not limited to: mechanical dredging of the main navigation channel as defined by the Contracting Officer; furnishing and use of a clamshell, draglines, backhoe, bucket-ladder, or other suitable mechanical equipment on suitable floating plant, furnish and use of box or framed barges for transporting dredged material complete with attendant plant as specified for performance of maintenance dredging; layout of dredge cut; pre-dredging sounding for verification of pre-dredging soundings by the Government; preparation of dredge material placement sites; dredging the dredge cut; post-dredging soundings before the final Government post-dredging soundings; and other dredging related activities.
