UPDATE 6 FEB 2024: The Government is reactivating this presolicitation notice and anticipates issuing the Invitation for Bid for this project in the coming weeks, on or before 31 March 2024. The Notice ID will be the same: W912EK24B0009. This is a pre-solicitation notice. The Government anticipates issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB) with the intent of awarding a Firm-Fixed Price construction contract for the project known as: Sny Island Reach 3, 2023 Event PL84-99 Flood Repairs. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This requirement is for Sny Island Reach 3, 2023 Flood Repairs, located in Pike County, Illinois. The Repairs will consist of re-grading the ground slopes at damaged areas and then placing bedding stone and riprap. Barge required for repair areas. In accordance with FAR 36.204(f), the estimated magnitude of construction is expected to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This prospective contract action will be conducted using the NAICS Code is 237990 (Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction), the size standard is $45M, and the Federal Supply Code is Y1QA Construction of Restoration of Real Property (Public or Private). The solicitation will proceed as an IFB, Competitive, 100% Small Business Set-Aside and is estimated to be issued on or about 31-January-2024 with bids due tentatively on 1-March-2024. The IFB will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as https://SAM.gov and will establish a firm bid due date/time. If applicable, the site visit date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation.
