UPDATE 6 FEB 2024: The Government is reactivating this presolicitation notice and anticipates issuing the Invitation for Bid for this project in the next few weeks, on or before 29 February 2024. The Notice ID will be the same: W912EK24B0002. The Government anticipates issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB) with the intent of awarding a Firm-Fixed Price construction contract for the project known as: Sny Island Reach 1 Flood Repairs. Project Description: The Repairs will consist of fully excavating the largest sand boils and replacing material with clay, along with the construction of a seepage berm at locations where there are multiple smaller boils. In accordance with FARS 36.204(g), the estimated magnitude of construction is expected to be between $5M - $10M. This prospective contract action will be conducted using the NAICS Code is 237990 (Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction), the size standard is $45M, and the Federal Supply Code is Y1QA Construction of Restoration of Real Property (Public or Private). The solicitation will proceed as a Competitive HUBZONE Small Business Set-Aside and is estimated to be issued on or about 26 January 2024 with bids due tentatively on 26 February 2024. The IFB will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as SAM.gov and will establish a firm bid due date/time. If applicable, the site visit date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation.
