This a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items and services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912EK22T1004 and is issued as a Request for Quote. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-06 dated 10 June 2021. This solicitation is available for full and open competition. Quotes are to be submitted electronically to Mr. Nicholas M. Moore (nicholas.m.moore@usace.army.mil) and Ms. Samantha Johanson (samantha.k.johanson@usace.army.mil) no later than 26 September 2022 by 12:00 PM CST. Description: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Rock Island District has a requirement for one (1) X-Ray Fluorescent Analyzer equipped with ‘Lead in Paint Analysis,’ 'General Metals Analysis Mode,' and ‘Bulk Soil Sample Analysis Mode’ capabilities. In the Rock Island District, the instrument will be used to identify hazardous materials, such as lead, cadmium, chromium and beryllium, prior to the beginning of construction activities. See Scope of Work for exact specifications. Period of Performance / Delivery is as follows: total requirement shall be delivered to the following address within six weeks after contract award. CEMVR-SO 1500 Rock Island Drive Rock Island, IL 61201 The basis for award will be lowest price and will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract. All offerors must quote on all items within the schedule of prices to be eligible for award. The following provisions apply to this notice. See attachment. Note: 52.212-3 Alt 1 shall be completed in the offerors System for Award Management (SAM) record. ALL interested parties must be registered in SAM in order to receive a contract award. All questions shall be in writing and submitted to Samantha Johanson at Samantha.k.johanson@usace.army.mil no later than 22 September 2022 at 12:00 PM CST. Amendment 0001 - Provides an updated Scope of Work that removes Beryllium as a required material for the XRF Analyzer to be able to detect. See attachment "A22 - Scope of Work - CEMVR-SO XRF Analyzer Procurement - Revision 1" for the highlighted change to the specifications. Proposal due date remains unchanged.
