Cooperative agreement law enforcement services shall be provided at the Mississippi River Project, John Hay and Park-N-Fish Recreation Areas, located in Pike County for a base period and two option years. The Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, intends to procure this requirement on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, intends to enter into a firm, fixed-price contract with Pike County Sheriff’s Office. The NAICS code for this procurement is 922120; NAICS code is not applicable with size standards. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued. "Increased law enforcement shall be for those projects, or portions of projects, that are operated and maintained by the Corps, and shall be executed in order to supplement Corps staff in performing certain law enforcement activities as defined by the Visitor Assistance Program, per Chapter 6 of this regulation and PL 95-224, (92 Stat.3), Federal Grant and Cooperative Agreement Act of 1977."
