The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, has a requirement for a consolidated effort with the Two Rivers Levee and Drainage District and the Gregory Drainage and Levee District. The work for each location is described as follows: Two Rivers - Burlington, Iowa: Repairs would include but not limited to, scour and sloughing repairs by placement of riprap along approximately 800 ft along mainstem Mississippi River levee in the Middle Unit of Two Rivers Levee and Drainage Association. Access to the work area for rock placement is best accomplished by floating plant. Gregory - Canton, Missouri: Repairs would include but not limited to, repair of approximately 400 ft of eroded riverside slope embankment with riprap, adjacent to a sheetpile wall, along the mainstem Mississippi River. Access to the work area for rock placement must be accomplished by floating plant.
