The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Rock Island District, operates and maintains twelve Lock and Dam sites on the Upper Mississippi River. The objective of this project is to replace the existing dam service crane for Rock Island District Lock and Dam 22 (LD 22). The Lock and Dam 20 (LD 20) and Lock and Dam 21 (LD 21) dam service cranes may also optionally be replaced as part of this project. The new crane design may be implemented at other LD sites in the future. The cranes are to be of a universal design so that they may function interchangeably at LD’s 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, and 22. Basis for Award: Unrestricted Best-Value Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. Anticipated Solicitation release date: July 28, 2021.
