The reason for Amendment 0002 is to provide a revised Schedule of Prices, a revised Scope of Work (changes are provided in red font), provide Questions and Answers to industry and photos of the spare cylinder. As a result of Amendment 0002, the required response date/time has changed from 21-Jan-2020 02:00 PM to 22-Jan-2020 02:00 PM and the time for Questions and Answers has been extended to no later than 21 January 2019 at 12:00pm Central Time. The reason for Amendment 0001 is to extend the closing date from 15 January 2020 to 21 January 2020 at 2:00pm CT and to incorporate DFARS Clause 252.225-7021, Trade Agreements. USACE Rock Island District has requirement for Miter Gate Hydraulic Cylinder rehabilitation at the Peoria Lock and Dam. The cylinders will be transported from the Government site by the contractor, repaired at the contractor site and returned to the Lock and Dam in the required time frame, which will coincide with the FY20 Illinois Water Way lock closures. Scope of Work will be attached to the Request for Quote (RFQ).
