PL84-99 Marion County Drainage District and South Quincy Drainage District, 2019 Event Levee Repairs The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, has a requirement for a consolidated effort with the Marion County Drainage District and the South Quincy Drainage District. The work for each location is described as follow: Marion County Drainage District, Marion County, MO- Repairs would include but not limited to, returning the levee to its previous design and grade, filling of scour holes and repairing wave wash. Mechanically dredged sand would be stockpiled off-site and hauled to location for use as fill material for the repair. Final survey will be made for all the repair areas. South Quincy Drainage District, Qunicy, IL- Repairs would include but not limited to, placing sand fill in the affected scour areas as damage Areas 1 and 2, Sand would be mechanically dredged and stockpiled off-site and hauled to location and shaped; placing riprap fill in the affected scour areas at damage areas 3 and 4; site restoration and final survey.
