CAMP WOOTEN/STARBUCK LEVEE REHAB
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, is conducting sources-sought market research for a firm-fixed-price levee rehabilitation construction contract at the Starbuck and Camp Wooten levees on the Tucannon River in Columbia County, Washington. Work includes reconstructing eroded levee sections and restoring riverward armoring/riprap at Starbuck, and reestablishing the riverside slope and toe armoring at Camp Wooten. USACE expects to award a single contract in December 2026, with the Camp Wooten work window in January–February 2027 and the Starbuck work window in February–March 2027. Estimated construction magnitudes are $500,000–$1,000,000 for Camp Wooten and $1,000,000–$5,000,000 for Starbuck. Performance and payment bonds will be required, and interested firms should demonstrate similar levee/erosion-control construction experience and bonding capacity.
