McNary Lock & Dam Spillway Infrastructure Upgrades
The US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking capable businesses for a major construction project to perform comprehensive electrical and structural upgrades at the McNary Lock and Dam spillway in Umatilla/Benton Counties, Oregon. The work involves modernizing obsolete systems, strengthening structures for new heavy cranes, upgrading the power system to 13.8kV, and installing a new networked control system. This is a sources-sought notice to gauge market capability and is not a solicitation; interested companies must submit a detailed capability statement, technical experience, bonding capacity, and business size/type. Responses must also address a series of specific questions regarding the potential use of a Project Labor Agreement (PLA). The contractor will be required to have dedicated Site Safety and Health Officer and Quality Control Manager personnel on site.
