Solicitation Number: W912EF-23-Q-0042 Dworshak Custom Seal Replacement Notice Type: Pre-solicitation NAICS Code: 339991 – Gasket, Packing, and Sealing Device Manufacturing PSC: 4710 – Pipe, Tubing and Rigid Tubing General: This is a supply requirement contract for Custom Bulkhead Seal replacement for Dworshak Dam and Reservoir, Ahsahka ID. Introduction: The successful Offeror shall be required to construct the rubber seals according to the specification that will be provided at solicitation to the Dworshak Project as required in Shipment and Delivery directions. Purpose: The US Army Corps of Engineers, Dworshak Dam & Reservoir, requires rubber seals that shall be of the full-molded type only. All corners shall be factory vulcanized, and all seal rubber must be compounded of natural rubber, synthetic polyisoprene, or a blend of both, and shall contain reinforcing carbon black, zinc oxide, accelerators, antioxidants, vulcanizing agents, and plasticizers. Physical characteristics of the seals shall meet the following requirements: This synopsis is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) under FAR PART 13 or Request for Proposals (RFP) under FAR PART 15. This announcement is for Information and planning purposes only and is not a commitment by the Government. Planned Announcement: RFQ number W912EF-23-Q-0042 will be issued on or about the 4th of April 2023. Closing Response Date: Approximately 15 days from the date the solicitation is issued.
