The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is issuing a solicitation for the pick-up/delivery of Lifting Beam Load Testing, commercial services, prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 12.6. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 811310, with a Small Business Size Standard of $12.5M as determined by 13 CFR 121.104. Competition for this requirement is Unrestricted (full and open). When available, the solicitation documents for this project W912EF23Q0029 will be provided via SAM https://www.sam.gov on or around 15 February 2023. Please do not submit a quote without the solicitation package that will be provided to industry by the Government as specified above. The solicitation will be a Request for Quote (RFQ). The official quotation due date will be contained in the solicitation and any solicitation amendments that may be issued. Full Performance Work Statement (will be provided during Solicitation): Requirements: Pick-up 8 lifting beam/devices at a project site located near Umatilla, Oregon No beams or devices longer than 48ft (~16ft max) Complete visual inspections and provide reporting on the inspection Complete Non-destructive weld examinations and reporting for the devices provided Repairs as required including: Weld repairs, Paint preparation (bead blasting, for example) and painting Load testing and certification of each device per ASME B30.20 (2018) and ASME BTH-1 (2020) Rough Max/Min (280T/3T) Provide placard for Labeling the devices Delivery and uncrating, unpacking of devices at site Submittals sufficient to reproduce testing of the devices at a future date, if required Important Note: the SAM response date listed elsewhere in this synopsis is for SAM archive purposes only.
