Scope of Work The Contractor shall procure a trailer mounted crack sealer. The contractor will deliver the trailer and provide a basic overview of how the crack sealer operates and the features of the machine. 2. Specifications The crack sealer shall be a new, currently produced model, trailer mounted crack sealer meeting the following specifications. Single axle trailer mounted crack sealer that meets all DOT specification for highway class travel All lighting on trailer will be sealed LED’s and weatherproof connectors on all lights 125–150-gallon capacity for all grades of asphalt rubber sealants Diesel powered 3-cylinder direct injected tier 4 engine and self-igniting diesel heated with a pump and capable of bringing the material to pouring temperate from air temp within one hour and rated at 250,000 BTU The manufacturer shall warranty the equipment for a period of one year Must have a locking engine cover Single mast mounted LED strobe 10lb fire extinguisher mounted on trailer with suitable bracket Full size spare tire mounted to trailer that matches the other two tires Must have sealant agitation and recirculation ability 2 sets of operations manuals and parts lists must be furnished with the unit A factory-trained representative will provide basic operation instruction to on-site staff within 5 business days of delivery of machine Electric heated sealing hose that is at least 20 feet in length with a ball valve to minimize dripping and waste and a 2.5-inch swivel disk will be included Tank will be the double boiler design Tank must be insulated on all sides 2” or 2 5/16” hitch provided Swing-away weight appropriate adjustable screw jack Electric brakes, emergency breakaway switch, radial tires, and safety chains with slip hooks A seven pin flat RV round plug will be included 3. Shipment and Delivery The contractor shall delivery the new trailer mounted crack sealer to Tri Rivers Natural Resources Maintenance Yard within 90 days of award of this contract. All deliveries will be coordinated with the Corps POC Brandon Frazier, 541-314-2070, at least 1 week prior to delivery. No shipments will be allowed other than normal business hours of Monday-Thursday 7:30AM-4:00PM PST, excluding federal holidays.
