The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is issuing a solicitation for the purchase of one (1) Hazardous Material Storage Locker, prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 12.6. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 339999, with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees as determined by 13 CFR 121.104. Competition for this requirement is Set-Aside for small business. Offers received from other than small business offerors will not be considered. When available, the solicitation documents for this project W912EF22Q0128 will be provided via SAM.gov on or around 14 April 2022. Please do not submit a quote without the solicitation package that will be provided to industry by the Government as specified above. The solicitation will be a Request for Quote (RFQ). The official quotation due date will be contained in the solicitation and any solicitation amendments that may be issued. The Contractor shall be required to deliver the equipment and parts to McNary Dam by the date shown in Section Shipment and Delivery. The Contractor shall provide documentation and other items as stated in the specifications. The hazardous waste storage locker shall have the following salient characteristics. Minimum of 14 Drum Storage Capacity. 11-Gauge Welded Steel 150mph Wind Rated Construction. Spill Containment Sump Approvals: NFPA, OSHA. Lockable, Hinged Doors with Inside Release Galvanized Grating Above Spill Compliant Sump, Positive Ventilation, Exterior Grounding Lug, Anchoring Point, and NFPA 704 Placard. Non-Combustible Fire Rating Internal Height No Less Than 82in Includes Ramp and Shelves Fire Bottle Dry Chemical Fire Suppression System Temperature Control to Not Exceed Internal Temperature of 115 Degrees Fahrenheit or Exceed Decreased Internal Temperature of 0 Degrees Fahrenheit. Thermostat Interior Light with fan Exterior light with Photo Eye Fiberglass Grating Poly Sump Liner for Sorting Acids and Corrosives SHIPMENT AND DELIVERY All materials shall be delivered FOB Destination no later than twenty-six weeks after award of the contract. The contractor shall be responsible for packing and shipping the components in a manner that will ensure undamaged and complete arrival to McNary Lock and Dam. Partial shipments will only be allowed with the consent of the government. Shipments are only allowed during normal business hours of Monday – Thursday 7:00am to 4:00pm. No shipments shall be made accepted on Federal Holidays. All shipments shall be delivered to: McNary Lock and Dam 82790 Devore Rd.
