Solicitation Number: W912EF-22-Q-0190 Dworshak Dam Elk Forage Planting Services Notice Type: Pre-solicitation NAICS Code: 115112 – Soil Preparation, Planting and Cultivating PSC: F018 – Planting and Forestation Services Synopsis: General: This is a non-personal services contract for Elk Forage Seedling Planting and Protection in the Grandad Elk Mitigation Area on Dworshak Reservoir. The Government will not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor, who in turn is responsible to the Government. Introduction: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform redstem ceanothus planting and protection as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Contractor shall perform to the standards in this PWS. Purpose: The US Army Corps of Engineers, Dworshak Dam & Reservoir, desires to increase the abundance, quality, and availability of winter forage for the North Fork Clearwater River elk herd by planting and protecting additional shrubs in the Grandad Elk Mitigation Area. For this effort, the primary goal is to achieve maximum survivability of planted seedlings. This synopsis is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) under FAR PART 13 or Request for Proposals (RFP) under FAR PART 15. This announcement is for Information and planning purposes only and is not a commitment by the Government. Planned Announcement: RFQ number W912EF-22-Q-0135 will be issued on or about the 10th of May 2022. Closing Response Date: Approximately 15 days from the date the solicitation is issued.
