The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is seeking sources to fabricate new 26-foot aluminum landing craft work boat for Ice Harbor Lock and Dam, Burbank, Washington. The work boat will be used by Powerhouse and NRM maintenance crews for: Powerhouse Mechanics: Remove debris from our restricted forebay area, movement of a floating bulkhead, carryout maintenance and operations functions and spill responses at Ice Harbor Lock & Dam. NRM Maintenance: Tractor, skid steer, and irrigation pump transport to unimproved HMU’s (Habitat Management Units) that require boat landing to unimproved beaches. The most challenging HMU’s requiring support include: Big Flat, Hollebeke, Lost Island, Skookum, and 55 Mile. Specific information about these HMU’s is included at the end of this specification. ***SEE ATTACHED ROUGH DRAFT SPECIFICATIONS*** The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 336612 and the associated small business size standard is 1,000 employees.
