Description: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Walla Walla District is seeking sources for a project entitled Bio-Control Treatment of Weeds. The work is located at Dworshak Dam in Ahsahka, ID. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730 Landscaping Services and the associated small business size standard is $8 million. Anticipated contract award February 2021. This sources-sought announcement is a tool to identify small and large businesses with the capability to accomplish the work. This is not a solicitation. Only firms who respond to this announcement by submitting the following information will be used in determining whether to set aside this requirement. Please do not respond to this notice unless you intend to respond to the solicitation. A) A list of current or past projects demonstrating technical experience with work of a similar nature to that listed in the Summary Scope of Work. Include a statement detailing any special qualifications and certifications, applicable to the scope of this project, held by your firm and/or in-house personnel. Summary Scope of Work: Services under this contract include inventory of weeds and release of APHIS-approved biological control agents on weed populations. and noxious weed inventory. The Inventory of Weed Populations using weed surveys and inventory reporting using AGOL collection system. Biological control agents from local nursery sites within a 100-mile radius of the targeted deployment location. Only species approved by the USDA animal and plant health inspection service may be used.
