As the needs of the plant change, core-drilling has become necessary. One of the risks with core-drilling is hitting the conduit or rebar in the walls. This proves to be costly as the repair of conduit and especially the wire takes many man hours to troubleshoot and more time to pull in new wire and repair. A ground penetrating radar machine (GPR) is a tool that aids in preventing damage to these structures. The Contractor shall be required to deliver the equipment and parts to McNary Dam by the date shown in Section Shipment and Delivery. The Contractor shall provide documentation and other items as stated in the specifications.
