Please see attached Solicitation, Solicitation Amendment, and attached drawings of existing pumps. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is issuing a solicitation for the purchase of three (3) new vertical turbine pumps. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 333914, with a Small Business Size Standard of 750 employees as determined by 13 CFR 121.104. Competition for this requirement is Set-Aside for small business. Offers received from other than small business offerors will not be considered. When available, the solicitation documents for this project W912EF21Q0072 will be provided via Beta.SAM https://www.beta.sam.gov on or around 26 March 2021. Please do not submit a quote without the solicitation package that will be provided to industry by the Government as specified above. The solicitation will be a Request for Quote (RFQ). The official quotation due date will be contained in the solicitation and any solicitation amendments that may be issued. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS The successful bidder shall provide three (3) vertical turbine pumps along with associated motors that will be mounted to fit the existing discharge piping and sump configuration currently installed at Little Goose Lock and Dam and conform to the specifications listed in section 3.0 entitled SPECIFICATIONS, as described in the technical specifications within the solicitation document. Submittals shall include a copy of the O&M manual, specification sheets, and warranty. Submittals will be reviewed by the Mechanical Engineer at Little Goose Lock and Dam. The vertical turbine pumps shall be covered by a minimum one-year warranty on all parts, labor, and workmanship from factory defects. The factory representative and/or a contractor’s service technician shall furnish instructions for recommended installation of the pump assembly and include instructions for the recommended commissioning process.
