The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is issuing a solicitation for the purchase of Powder Coating Service, commercial service, prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 12.6. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 332812, with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees as determined by 13 CFR 121.104. Competition for this requirement is Set-Aside for small business. Offers received from other than small business offerors will not be considered. When available, the solicitation documents for this project W912EF21Q0044 will be provided via Beta.SAM https://www.beta.sam.gov on or around 22 February 2021. Please do not submit a quote without the solicitation package that will be provided to industry by the Government as specified above. The solicitation will be a Request for Quote (RFQ). The official quotation due date will be contained in the solicitation and any solicitation amendments that may be issued. SCOPE OF WORK 1.0 General: This is a non-personal services contract to provide Powder Coating services for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Natural Resource Management, Clarkston Washington. The Government will not exercise any supervision or control over Contractor employees performing the services herein. Contractor employees shall be accountable solely to the Contractor, who in turn is responsible to the Government. 2.0 Scope: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform Powder Coating to AAMA 2604 Standard. The Government will deliver and pick up the gates within 30 driving miles of Clarkston Natural Resource Project, 100 Fair Street., Clarkston Washington 99403. 3.0 Specific Tasks: 3.1 Powder Coating. The Contractor shall Sandblast and Powder Coat gates (see attached drawing & list of dimensions on bid schedule). The Contractor shall unload the gates at their facility and shall prepare and coat all side of each gate. When complete, the Contractor shall load gates back on the Government truck for return to Clarkston Natural Resource Project.
