The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is issuing a solicitation for the purchase of one containerized abrasive blast booth system to enable personnel to perform on-site abrasive blasting at Lower Monumental Dam, prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 12.6. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 811310, with a Small Business Size Standard of $8 million as determined by 13 CFR 121.104. Competition for this requirement is Set-Aside for small business. Offers received from other than small business offerors will not be considered. When available, the solicitation documents for this project W912EF21Q0037 will be provided via Beta.SAM https://www.beta.sam.gov on or around 4pm PST, 26 January 2021. Please do not submit a quote without the solicitation package that will be provided to industry by the Government as specified above. The solicitation will be a Request for Quote (RFQ). The official quotation due date will be contained in the solicitation and any solicitation amendments that may be issued. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS The Contractor shall be required to furnish and deliver the containerized abrasive blasting booth to Lower Monumental Lock and Dam by the date shown in the “Shipment and Delivery section. The blasting booth shall be in new condition and not previously used. SUBMITTALS Contractor shall submit a copy of manufacturer’s specification sheets, brochures and drawings for technical evaluation with their quote. WARRANTY The item shall be covered by the manufacture’s standard warranty on all parts, labor and workmanship from factory defects. Warranty period shall be a minimum of one year. OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE MANUALS: Contractor shall provide two (2) complete hard copies and one (1) digital copy of the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) manual for the containerized abrasion blast booth. The O&M manual shall include instructions on the installation, operation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, warranty and parts list of the equipment. The O&M Manuals shall also include a sheet at the front of the manuals listing the name, phone number, contact information for the manufacturer and a distributor where spare parts can be purchased. The complete contract award number (as found on the contract Award document) shall also be included.
