This Presolicitation pertains to the purchase of a compact Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) in accordance with the Technical Specifications for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District at Lower Monumental Dam, Kahlotus, WA. This will be a firm-fixed-price supply contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 334220 and the associated small business size standard is 1,250 employees. There is a manufacturer’s class waiver for this NAICS code. The solicitation will be a Total Small Business Set Aside in accordance with the Technical Specifications. The Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) will be used for underwater inspections of various submerged equipment/structures like fish ladder diffuser gratings, fish ladder exit bulkheads, RSW transition plates, fish pump intakes and fish transport barge dock coffer cells at Lower Monumental Lock and Dam.
