Construction project entitled: Jackson Hole Levee Repair and Rehabilitation Requirements Contract, 2019-2022. The work is located in Teton County, Wyoming. The resulting contract will be an Indefinite Delivery Requirements contract for heavy construction. This Requirements contract will cover one base year and up to two optional years, with task orders issued for specific work. The Government anticipates placing between $160,000 and $300,000 in task orders per year; however, this estimate is not a representation that the estimated quantity will be required or ordered. A bid bond of 20% will be required. Performance and/or bid bonds will be required for each task order. The period of performance is three years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237990 and the associated small business size standard is $36,500,000. The solicitation is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Summary of Scope of Work: The work involves clearing and grubbing (vegetation removal) and levee repairs on the Jackson Project Levees located near Jackson, Wyoming. Levee repairs consist of hauling and placing riprap (also known as armor), hauling and placing fill material, and rekeying of existing riprap. All riprap and fill material is Government furnished. The repair sites are divided into two regions, local and alternate. Local regions include the Lucas, Nelson, Golf Course, Walton, Morgan and Federal Extension Levees. Alternate regions are all project levees and locations not included in the local regions. Local region work shall begin at the Nelson and Golf Course Levees on the Gros Ventre River, and then proceed downstream on the Gros Ventre River. After work is completed on the Gros Ventre Levees, repairs will begin on the Walton Levee on the Snake River, proceeding to the other downstream levees. The Snake River and the Gros Ventre River in the vicinity of the work sites are considered Class 1 and 2 waters under Wyoming water quality laws which are administered by the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), Water Quality Division(WQD). All on-site work shall be performed in accordance with the Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual (EM 385-1-1). Solicitation Number W912EF19B0014 has been posted to the FBO.gov. The solicitation is an Invitation for Bid. Bids will be due no sooner than 30 calendar days after actual solicitation issuance date.
