The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, is conducting market research to identify firms capable of providing an 18-inch or larger hydraulic-cutterhead dredge for riverine dredging on the Mississippi River Harbors and the JBJ Waterway (Red River). The work involves furnishing all plant, labor, and equipment for construction and maintenance dredging of materials including sand, gravel, silt, and debris, with pipeline lengths up to 6,500 feet. Dredges should be available immediately, and contractors must have adequate bonding capability.
