Solicitation Number W912EE23Q0028 is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ) with the intent to issue one Firm-Fixed Price Contract. This solicitation is being issued under a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. The NAICS code for this procurement is 811310 - Other Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing; with a size standard of $8,000,000.00. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with regulations at FAR Part 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Mat Sinking Unit requires a contractor to perform top end overhauls on the main engines on the M/V Harrison as outlined in this scope of work. The M/V Harrison will be located in the Vicksburg Harbor until the next mat sinking season begins in the upcoming summer. The main engines are Caterpillar Model 3508 marine diesel engines. Both engines require a top end overhaul, to be performed in place/in frame on the M/V Harrison. Offers are encouraged to review all clauses that are incorporated into this solicitation.
