Quotes will be accepted from holders of the Dry Dock BPA with US Army Corps of Engineers – Vicksburg District. This is a synopsis for commercial services. An RFQ will be issued with the intent to issue one BPA call. The Period of Performance is expected to be 60 days. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, has a requirement for cleaning and chem free certification of the Dredge Jadwin. Four fuel tanks on the Dredge Jadwin need to be cleaned which includes disposal of waste within any of the tanks. The Contractor shall strip fuel tanks free of standing liquid diesel fuel. After stripping, the tanks will need to be cleaned to obtain gas free certification. A gas free certification will be provided by a certified marine chemist. During the cleaning process, any fuel, wash water, and/ or sludge will be collected via vacuum truck and taken for proper disposal.
