The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, has a requirement for a contractor to furnish and deliver 2400 tons of B-Stone in multiple loads, by flat top barges, to Lock and Dam 3, Red River Waterway at Colfax, Louisiana, in accordance with the Statement of Work. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will be issued as an attachment. Solicitation Number W912EE21Q0030 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), with the intent to issue one Firm Fixed-Price Purchase Order Contract. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05. This solicitation is being issued under a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS code for this procurement is 212312 – Crushed & Broken Limestone Mining & Quarrying, with a size standard of 750 Employees. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with regulations at FAR Part 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures. DELIVERY DATE. The delivery date is anticipated to be on or about June 27, 2021, pending weather conditions and varying water levels.
