The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District Contracting Office intends to solicit and award on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), to Puckett Machinery Company located in Flowood, MS, CAGE Code: 1JX26 . This requirement is for Caterpillar certified repairs for Caterpillar Equipment: Caterpillar RM250 Rotary Mixer and Caterpillar D6R. Puckett Machinery Company is the southwest Mississippi regional authorized factory repair center for Caterpillar Equipment and they are fully capable of performing the required repairs in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. A copy of the Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition is attached. This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) and no solicitation is available for this procurement. Nevertheless, any firm or individual that believes it is capable of meeting the Vicksburg District’s requirements described herein may submit a capabilities statement; which, if received 25 February 2020, 12:00 PM CST, will be considered. Responses to this posting must be submitted via e-mail, no phone calls will be accepted. A determination not to compete the described purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government.
