Description of the requirement: This is a sources-sought notice to determine market conditions for establishing a non-personal services contract to provide operation and maintenance (O&M) to Overhead Cranes at Fort Hood (soon to be Fort Cavazos). The Government will not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services, herein. Contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn, is responsible to the Government. The Contractor shall provide required preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) services in compliance with all code; criteria; regulations; and Federal, State, and local laws. All work shall be performed at Fort Hood, Texas which consists of the Main Cantonment, West Fort Hood, and all areas under the control of the Fort Hood Installation or considered Installation Real Property. Fort Hood is located approximately sixty (60) miles north of Austin and fifty (50) miles south of Waco, Texas. The main cantonment area is approximately twenty (20) miles west of Interstate Highway 35 at Belton, Texas, and adjacent to Killeen, Texas.
