This Sources Sought/Market Research Capabilities Questionnaire seeks to assess industry capabilities and small-business participation for a potential design-build construction project to replace the Active Vehicle Barrier Control System (AVBCS) at East Gate, Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Washington (WA). It is for planning and market research only, not a solicitation, request for proposal/quotation, or commitment to award, and it does not restrict the Government’s acquisition approach. Responses are open from both small and other-than-small businesses and will help determine whether the requirement can be set aside for small businesses under RFO Subpart 19.104. The Government will not reimburse costs, rank submittals, provide replies, or return responses, and responses are not offers that can form a binding contract. Information gathered will be used to assess industry capability, small-business participation, acquisition strategy, and potential sources; pricing is not requested.
