Amendment 1: The purpose of this amendment is to extend the submittal date for the Capabilities Questionnaire, add a place of performance location, and correct the submittal email address. The objective of this acquisition is to acquire specialized medical facilities operations and maintenance services to support the U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM), the Air Force Medical Support Agency (AFMSA), the U.S. Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) and the Defense Health Agency (DHA) at locations throughout the Contiguous United States (CONUS), Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories; and outside of the contiguous United States Belgium, England, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea and Thailand); to include locations that have DoD Medical Facilities under the Operation and Maintenance Engineering Enhancement (OMEE) Program. The OMEE Program provides facilities maintenance and specialized operation and maintenance services for DoD’s medical facility infrastructure. The predominance of the work is Service Contract Labor Standards type efforts (formerly known as the Service Contract Act), and Wage Rate Requirements (Construction) type efforts (formerly known as the Davis Bacon Act) are also utilized, as defined in FAR 22.403-1.
