Objective: The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville (CEHNC) intends to select the Offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government. Following source selection, the selected utility company will conduct a preliminary assessment of Fort Detrick’s energy usage with the intent to award a Utility Energy Service Contract (UESC) for the design and implementation of energy savings and conservation solutions that will meet the unique needs of the customer pursuant to 42 USC 8256 and 10 USC 2913. Contract Type: The Government intends to award a firm fixed-price (FFP) agreement in accordance with (IAW) FAR 41.2. Proposals will be considered from GSA areawide contract holders that provide utility services for the Fort Detrick, Maryland area.
