Joint Base Lewis McChord (JBLM) Multi Domain Task Force (MDTF) Buildings (BLDGs) 3223 and 3224
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District, anticipates a firm-fixed-price contract to convert two existing barrack buildings at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, into an operational facility for three command tiers. The project, commonly referred to as “the Hammer Head,” involves hazardous-material abatement and demolition, including about 75% removal of exterior envelopes and interior walls, about 90% removal of mechanical/electrical systems, and removal of the existing EPDM roof while retaining roof framing. New work includes a new exterior envelope, new mechanical/electrical systems, and a new TPO roof, with site coordination for a new utility connection and shared construction boundaries with adjacent projects. This is a 100% small business set-aside, and award will be based on best value tradeoff under RFO 15.103-1. Solicitation documents are expected to be available on or about October 1, 2026, through SAM.gov, and offerors must be SAM-registered and submit proposals electronically via the PIEE Solicitation Module.
