The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is currently conducting a cleanup under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) at Bradford Island in Cascade Locks, Oregon. Bradford Island forms a portion of the southern end of the Bonneville Dam which is owned and operated by USACE. Releases from historical activities associated with Dam operations have resulted in contamination in upland soils and in Columbia River sediments adjacent to the Site. Under the Corps’ CERCLA authority, USACE is conducting a remedial investigation and feasibility study and will be conducting remedial actions at the site. The current scope of work is for supporting the Corps’ Community Involvement Program, as defined by CERCLA and Department of Defense (DoD) guidance. Services for this PWS include the following: (1) updating the current Community Involvement Plan, (2) conducting community interviews and public meetings, and (3) prepare fact sheets and other educational materials. Amendment 0001 includes updated changes to the following: 1) Price Schedule, and 2) Performance Work Statement.
