GENERAL INFORMATION: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requires two (2) Water Lubricant (WL) vertical turbine pumps to be delivered to Albeni Falls Dam in Oldtown, Idaho. SPECIFICATIONS: Contract is for purchase of two (2) WL vertical turbine pump assemblies. The new vertical turbine pumps will replace existing unwatering pumps shown in appendix A. Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining the product’s condition as specified until the point of acceptance. New equipment only; no remanufactured or “gray market” items. DELIVERY SCHEDULE: The successful bidder shall be required to deliver the two (2) WL vertical turbine pump assemblies to Albeni Falls Dam on or before 1 September 2022. Contractor is responsible for downloading from truck. All deliveries must take place during AFD business hours of Monday through Thursday 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, excluding Federal holidays. Hwy 2 Oldtown, ID 83822 APPENDIX A Existing Dewatering Pumps: The two dewatering pump motors are vertically mounted Fairbanks-Morse AC induction underdrive motors type QZO. These motors are rated at 75 horse power continuous. 3 phase. 220 / 440 volt. 178A / 89A. Full load 1755 RPM. 24 hour, 50 degree C rise. Frame 2045PV. The two dewatering pumps are Fairbanks-Morse Figure 6972 Deep well pumps with a rated capacity of 3,500 GPM at 60 feet of head and a maximum pump speed of 1,760 RPM. The pumps have an efficiency rating (min.) of 75% at rated operating point.
