Refurbished or used machine is not acceptable. Towable with standard vehicle hitches found on 1 ton or bigger trucks No requirement for CDL (under 10,000 lbs) to tow. 135 horsepower or greater liquid cooled diesel engine Engine hour meter Minimum 4 cutting knives Standard wear parts such as knives are replaceable Minimum chipping capacity: 18 inches Adjustable discharge chute Intake winch equipped Wood material is self feeding once inserted into the feeding system. Feed control (bar or similar easy to use feature) for stop/ forward/reverse at feed area Department of Transportation compliant trailer marker and lights Standard trailer wiring harness for brakes and lights Appropriate load range durable trailer tires suitable for highway speed Industry standard 2-1/2 inch pintle hitch, ball hitch, or similar Doughnut hitch is not acceptable License plate mount Adjustable “A frame” jack or swivel trailer tongue jack up front near hitch hookup.
