Solicitation No. W912DW19R0017 "Construct a Hot Refueling System at Gray Army Airfield (GAAF), Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), WA" has been uploaded to FBO. THIS IS A SYNOPSIS OF A PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR INVITATION FOR OFFERORS TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS. THIS NOTICE WILL BE POSTED FOR A MINIMUM OF 15 CALENDAR DAYS PRIOR TO POSTING OF THE SOLICITATION. W912DW19R0017 It has been determined that competition will be limited to Small Business firms and the assigned NAICS code. All other non-Small Business firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. The Seattle District is anticipating solicitation of a hot refueling system at Gray Army Airfield (GAAF) at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Tacoma, WA. The objective of this project is to construct a refueling complex that includes an aircraft direct fueling facility with Petroleum Oils & Lubricant (POL) operations that will provide Gray Army Airfield (GAAF) with a hydrant fuel system to allow hot refueling of all Army helicopters utilizing the airfield. The project will supply an efficient, expeditious, safe, and dependable means of dispensing fuel to rotary wing aircraft and to support the Combat Aviation Brigade by providing three (3) hot fuel points. Project is located in an airfield/flight-line industrial area. The project will be 100% design complete prior to solicitation. The magnitude of this construction project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. As previously stated, this project is total set-aside for small business firms. On or about 24 May 2019, the solicitation documents for this project will be available via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov/ under solicitation number W912DW19R0017.
