This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT to conduct market research for developing a procurement strategy for a possible upcoming opportunity entitled "Albeni Falls Dam, Oldtown, Idaho - Duplex Basket Strainers." The purpose of this notice is to measure the interest of Small Businesses (SB), 8(a), Small Disadvantage Business (SDB), Women Owned Business, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), or HUBZone prime contractor business sources and their size classifications relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes of "333999" - All Other Miscellaneous General Purpose Machinery Manufacturing (size standard of 500 employees). The vendor shall provide an information demonstrating they can provide the following Brand Name or equal Duplex Basket Strainers: Tate Andale Model 0601105140 & Tate Andale Model 0801105140. Scope of Specifications Three (3) Each 6 inch Model AL Duplex Basket Strainer: • Body and Cover made of grey cast iron. • Baskets (2) shall be of 90/10 Copper Nickel with 1/8" holes. Rings and cover shall be Monel construction for resistance to zebra and quagga mussel fouling. • Operating pressure: 125 psi. • Operating Temperature: 150 degrees F. • External coating: Enamel Paint. • Flanges: Flat faced and drilled in accordance with ASME B16.1, Class 125. • Flange Size: Inlet 6", Outlet 6". • Right Hand Assembly (valve hand wheels are located on the right side of the strainer when facing the inlet). • Strainer should rest on supports that are located on the bottom of the unit. • Inlet to Outlet pipe flange dimension must be 29-3/4" to allow strainer to match up to existing piping. • Four (4) each base plate bolt holes must be 3/4" diameter to allow 5/8" diameter bolts to pass thru which thread into 5/8" threaded inserts in concrete strainer pad. • 20-1/2", 14-7/8", 1-3/4" and 3-1/2" base plate dimensions are critical to locate bolt holes to allow strainer to be mounted in same location on concrete strainer pad as existing strainer, which in-turn will allow new strainer inlet and outlet flanges to match up to existing piping. • Height from mounting base to centerline of inlet and outlet flange must be 12-7/8" to allow new strainer to match up to existing piping. Rings and cover shall be Monel construction for resistance of zebra and quagga mussel fouling. • Operating pressure: 125 psi. • Operating Temperature: 150 degrees F. • External coating: Enamel Paint. • Flanges: Flat faced and drilled in accordance with ASME B16.1, Class 125. • Flange Size: Inlet 8", Outlet 8". • Right Hand Assembly (valve hand wheels are located on the right side of the strainer when facing the inlet). • Strainer should rest on supports that are located on the bottom of the unit. • Inlet to Outlet pipe flange dimension must be 34-1/4" to allow strainer to match up to existing piping. • Inlet and Outlet flanges shall have eight (8) each 7/8" diameter bolt holes, equally spaced on a 11-3/4" diameter bolt circle. • Four (4) each base plate bolt holes must be 7/8" diameter to allow 3/4" diameter bolts to pass thru which thread into 3/4" threaded inserts in concrete strainer pad. • 11-9/16", 14-3/4", 2", and 4" base plate dimensions are critical to locate bolt holes to allow strainer to be mounted in same location on concrete strainer pad as existing strainer, which in-turn will allow new strainer inlet and outlet flanges to match up to existing piping. • Centerline of strainer body to outlet flange shall be 17-1/8" to allow strainer to be mounted in same location on concrete strainer pad as existing strainer, which in-turn will allow new strainer inlet and outlet flanges to match up to existing piping. • Height from mounting base to centerline of inlet and outlet flange must be 16-3/4" to allow new strainer to match up to existing piping. REQUIREMENTS: Provide the following in response to this sources sought synopsis: 1. Provide documentation demonstrating your product can meet the Scope of Specification provided above for both 6 & 8 inch strainers. Minimum information provided shall include the following: a) Brand name, b) Model number and; c) Estimated total lead time and delivery (to Oldtown, Idaho). 2. Provide your company's name, address and CAGE code and/or DUNS number. 3. Provide information regarding representation or certification as a Small Business (SB), 8(a), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Women Owned Business (WOB), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), or HUBZone. Send your notice of interest to this project as soon as possible, but NO LATER THAN 10:00am (Pacific Time) on 12 July 2019.
