This is a solicitation for commercial supplies in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, solicitation W912DW19Q0038 is attached. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Seattle District has a need for the procurement and delivery of sand to the Grays Harbor South Jetty Breach Fill area in Westport, WA, in accordance with the attached Scope of Work and within the areas staked in the field by the Government and depicted in the attached solicitation. The underlying purpose of the project is to restore the dune area that connects the mainland to the federal South Jetty. The Contractor shall comply with all Federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, statutes and regulations pertaining to the provided supplies. This acquisition is being solicited as a 100% HUBZone Small Business Set Aside. Competition for this acquisition is RESTRICTED TO HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESSES. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 212321 Construction Sand and Gravel Mining and the business size standard is 500 employees. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price supply contract from this acquisition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All contractors proposing on Department of Defense (DoD) solicitations must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. The purpose of this database is to provide basic business information and capabilities to the Government. The SAM website can be accessed at www.sam.gov.
