The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District is seeking manufacturers pertaining to steel doors and frames for a new firm-fixed-price (FFP) construction contract titled Weapon Storage and Maintenance Facility (WSMF) at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana. Products/systems must comply with FAR provision 52.225-12 and FAR clause 52.225-11 as referenced below. Applicable NAICS are: 238120 - Structural Steel and Precast Concrete Contractors 238290 - Other Building Equipment Contractors 332321 - Metal Window and Door Manufacturing 331221 - Rolled Steel Shape Manufacturing GENERAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS. References: https://www.deansteel.com/bullet-and-blast-resistant-doors-and-windows BRP2 Doors and Frames: Level Level 10 Bullet Resistant Military Ordnance. Must have test data showing that the door passed test and will stop one (1) .50 Armor Piercing (AP) round. If the door does not have a rating designation, it must have a construction label with a certification letter and copy of the test report indicating who performed the test. This test must be the same or similar to the one performed by Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, TX that was conducted on the Level 10 BRP2 door and frame per the specification sheet provided. BUY AMERICAN STATUTE REQUIREMENTS: The steel doors and frames must comply with Provision 52.225-12. Notice of Buy American Requirement-Construction Materials Under Trade Agreements, and Clause 52.225-11, Buy American-Construction Materials under Trade Agreements. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Manufacturers and/or suppliers responding to this announcement shall verify that the products/systems satisfy the general requirements indicated above and Deansteel BRP2 specification. A catalog cut of the items with technical specification demonstrating compliance are requested to be included with the response. In addition, please provide cost and place (State(s)) of manufacture for each item.
