The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District is seeking manufacturers pertaining to precast concrete sections for a new firm-fixed-price (FFP) construction contract titled Weapon Storage and Maintenance Facility (WSMF) at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana. Products/systems must comply with FAR provision 52.225-12 and FAR clause 52.225-11 as referenced below. Applicable NAICS are: 238120- Structural Steel and Precast Concrete Contractors 238110- Poured Concrete Foundation and Structure Contractors 238290- Other Building Equipment Contractors GENERAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS. Construction will include a Remote Target Engagement System (RTES) to be installed surrounding the new WSMF. The RTES towers and system is designed by Sandia National Laboratories (Sandia) and includes a precast concrete tower top section. The pre-cast mold is the property of Sandia is required for the top section of the RTES towers to meet specifications for the tower cap and doors to be installed. Mold Number S976444 Forterra Pipe and Precast concrete Tower Top Section. BUY AMERICAN STATUTE REQUIREMENTS: Pre-cast concrete sections must comply with Provision 52.225-12. Notice of Buy American Requirement-Construction Materials Under Trade Agreements, and Clause 52.225-11, Buy American-Construction Materials under Trade Agreements. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Manufacturers and/or suppliers responding to this announcement shall verify that the products/systems satisfy the general requirements indicated above and pre-cast tower top section S976444. A catalog cut of the items with technical specification demonstrating compliance are requested to be included with the response. In addition, please provide cost and place (State(s)) of manufacture for each item.
