This is a Sources Sought notice for the reconstruction of Crowninshield/Cressy Pier and a new waterfront building at the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY. The estimated construction cost is $100,000,000, with the project planned for issuance in Spring 2027 and construction beginning in early 2028. The work includes demolition of existing pier remnants, new pier construction, and building facilities to support training, recreational, and large-scale event operations. The government is exploring three acquisition strategies—Design-Build to Budget, Integrated Design and Construction, and Progressive Design Build—and seeks industry feedback on their suitability. Adjacent facilities will remain occupied during construction, requiring minimal disruption and precise planning.
