Construction of the Power Generation with Microgrid at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBMDL), New Hanover, NJ
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers plans to award a firm fixed-price contract for constructing a power generation microgrid at Joint Base-MDL, New Jersey. The project, valued between $5 million and $15 million, includes a 400 KW photovoltaic array, a 1.5 MW battery energy storage system, two 500kW natural gas generators, and a microgrid controller. Work will provide electrical redundancy and black start capability for critical facilities, along with fire suppression, utilities, and site improvements. The contract duration is 730 calendar days.
