Synopsis: Biological Sampling and Testing of Dredged Material IDIQ
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, intends to award a single IDIQ contract for the physical and biological testing of dredged material proposed for placement at the Historic Area Remediation Site (HARS) or for upland placement. The contract has a budget of up to $2,000,000 for the base year and for each of four option years, with a total period of performance covering the base year plus those four option years. All sampling work will be performed within the Port of New York & New Jersey, its federal navigation channels, the Hudson River, and the Atlantic Ocean at the HARS. The contractor must demonstrate, within the last 18 months, a proven capability to perform this specific testing program to the satisfaction of the EPA Region 2. Task orders will encompass sample collection, analysis, quality assurance, and reporting in accordance with strict federal and state manuals and regulations.
