Runway Approach Lighting System & PAPI at Pituffik Space Base, Greenland
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks a contractor for a Firm Fixed Price contract to construct a new Runway Approach Lighting System and PAPI at Pituffik Space Base in Greenland, with an estimated project cost between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The work includes major airfield improvements such as a new approach lighting system, an ILS, a river crossing bridge, and a new lighting vault. Due to the Arctic location, all exterior construction is limited to approximately June through September, and all personnel and supplies must be transported via a limited military air or sealift, with no local materials or labor available. The Government intends to award the contract in the second quarter of Fiscal Year 2026, and the performance period is approximately three years. This procurement is restricted exclusively to Danish and Greenlandic firms.
